This book is about a girl called Issie. Issie is a kind girl but she has always wanted to get closer to horses.
Issie and her best friends, Stella and Kate, had horses trained with Tom Avery. Issie, Stella and Kate all went to the same school, Chevalier Point High School.
One day, Tom Avery went to get something from behind the tack room. It was a horse. It was a bay. It was a mare. Tom Avery gave the horse to Issie. She named her Blaze. Blaze was a palomino who could be a bit cheeky at times but she was really fun at other times. Find out more about Blaze in the book!!!
When Issie had finished her training session, Tom said that they would be entering the Interclub. The Interclub was where there were lots of different races and if your team won you would get to take home the Interclub shield.
Issie met Morgan at the training sessions for the Interclub. Morgan tried to jeopardise Issie's chance at Interclub but Issie later forgave Morgan. Forgiveness is one of our school values.
The author showed that you should not be jealous of other people's successes but to work hard to be successful yourself.
When Issie got Blaze she was delighted. When Issie got into the Interclub she was overwhelmed. When Blaze got taken away Issie was tearful.
My favourite character was Blaze because she is a horse. I love horses.
I would recommend this book to people who like horses and mysteries because it is full of equine problems to solve.
