Year Group 6
I really like this book as it’s full of many problems and dilemmas. It has lots of different emotions and changes from boring to exciting. I think David Walliams should write a lot more stories like this as I didn’t want to stop reading it.
I loved the way there were many lies and some of them I thought weren’t as David was able to explain them so well.
Ben (granny’s grandson) is very good at sneaking around and keeping secrets. He and his family changed massively when he began to like his granny which made the story a lot more happy.
Granny seems very boring at the start but becomes a lot more interesting as the story goes on.
My favourite character was Ben as I love way he sneaks around.
I recommend this book to 9-11 year olds.
